Futurebirds put on a wonderful show and party here last night. Once they get started the party builds up and up and up. A Jim Prine, Futurebirds and Big Guns BBQ Production. Next time there will be a longer venue with probably two bands or more. Corporal Boil will be coming back soon. Keep your eyes open on up coming events. Wailin Wolves played a great show last night. They are getting better each show and it was exciting to have the added vocal talent of Yvette Scott who will be working with us regularly. Rain or Shine our Rockfest 2 went On

Due to the insistent rain, we moved Our Rockfest Indoors.Other than a slight delay in the beginning our Rockfest was still a success. We had some great live music opening up with Stone Street and their funky alternative sound. Moving on to an exciting show with the Wailin' Wolves Band playing their blues and rock classics with a powerhouse set featuring Shaw From on harmonica, Big Guns Bert on guitar, Phil the Pill on guitar, Neil Anderson on Bass, and Sean Scott on Drums. Had great crowd pleasing reaction and the Rockfest continues.

Following their dynamic set, the next set featured Wrought Iron Soul with Ace McFherguis on lead vocals and rhythm guitar, Bellz Karisa, on lead and backup vocals, Max Gill on amazing lead guitar, David Bush on Thumpin' Bass, Joe Morgan on keys, and Lee Barnes on drums. Their show was dynamic and powerful as always.

Then followed the incredible Floyds known group Shreddenger featuring Josh Rouch, Boston, ans Stacy, Three piece hard ro0ck band with a tremendous future and LOTS OF ORIGINALS.

The to top off the ante, we had an incredible show by Jay Blues Band joined in by Big Guns Bert with battling guitar solos between Jay and Bert. A tremendous finale to a great day of live music at Big Guns BBQ. We are always musician friendly!!

Wrought Iron Soul was Here Tonight

Ace MacFhearghuis with his band Wrought Iron Soul put on a phenomenal show tonight at Big Guns BBQ. The vocals were incredible and even though the band sound is very powerful you could hear everything clearly. They mesh together in perfect synchronization. The drums are powerful and strong and totally in sync. Ovation for David and Lee. Ace and Bellz can sing anything without missing a note. Joe on the keys and Max on the lead guitar just add the perfect amount of background and leads to help this band sound as great as they do. If you have the chance to see them, don't miss out. They are truly awesome. Expect them to be back here on May 29 for our all day epic event - Backyard Rockfest 2!!

The Wailin Wolves Fever Is Gettin Stronger

This band had one of the most excited crowds I've seen in years. Between Shaw's Harp leads, Sean's incredible drumming, Bert, Phil and Neils leads and rhythms. The band has improved in the last few months more than any single band we've seen or listened to lately. This band has seasoned, experienced musicians who love what they do. They are crowd pleasing and carry a charismatic communication with its crowd.

The Shows This Weekend With Harbor Blue Band Was Spectacular

The harbor Blue Band performed exactly how they promote themselves. They are not loud and overpowering as many bands are. They are seasoned musicians playing acoustic/ electric tunes we all remember and enjoy. With excellent harmonies and great vocals they are a very pleasing band to listen to. Their variety is excellent and I must say this band stays in the groove and is really tight. Don't miss their Up Coming Shows at Big Guns BBQ.

Roadhouse Band performed a phenomenal, energetic show with some of the most outstanding vocals, rippin' leads, and dynamic drums and bass. the band was tight with a great variety and I recommend them highly.

Follow their shows and don't forget that Big Guns BBQ has some great, fun bands every Friday and Saturday. This weekend Friday night, April 23, 2010 see the Wailin' Wolves, Harmonica and guitar led Blues & Rock.
